Join us Sunday for worship at 9:00 and 11:00 am. The 9:00 service is contemporary and casual; the 11:00 service is traditional.
The Pastor's sermons are based on the Bible, and will often be in a series that spends time in a certain book of the Bible. They explore the relevance of God's Word for today.
Traditional Service
An adult choir sings each Sunday for the traditional worship service. They are accompanied by organ and/or keyboard and, on special occasions, guest instrumentalists. They sing a variety of musical styles – Gospel, classical and contemporary. Adults and teens are welcome to sing. Rehearsals for the traditional service are Wednesday nights from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m.
Celebration Service
A praise band with singers provides contemporary music for the 9:00 Celebration Service. Special music, videos, and dramas are also part of this service to enhance the pastor’s message. Rehearsals for singers and musicians are Thursdays at 7:15 p.m. Interested teens and adults should contact the Celebration Service Music Leader for audition information. The music team is lead by Richard Thompson. Take a look at Richard's music writing web page.
Three children’s choirs – Cherub Choir (pre-school), Sonshine Singers (elementary school), and Chapel Choir (middle school) – sing in worship periodically. They also give special programs at Christmas and Easter. In addition, hand chime choirs add to the musical variety of worship. Rehearsals for youth and children’s choirs are Sunday afternoons.
